Brandable is an agency for personal brands: we score LinkedIn profiles for free, and members of the Brandable Membership request services such as the Profile Overhaul and Ghostwriting. This page says what we hold, why, who else sees it and how long it stays. It covers brandable.be, ask.brandable.be and everything behind them. We are the controller of the data described here; write to hello@brandable.be about any of it.
1. What We Collect, and Why
When you ask for a score
You give us an email address and a public LinkedIn profile URL. We read that profile as a signed-out visitor sees it (the headline, About, experience, skills and recent posts) and keep a copy of what came back, so the score can be shown with the evidence behind it. We create a simple account for that email address, with no password, so that if you later become a member your score and your requests sit in one place. We never use a LinkedIn login, and we never post, message or connect as anyone.
If you tick the box about offers
That box is optional and separate. Ticking it lets us email you about what we sell; leaving it unticked changes nothing about your score. Every such email carries a link that stops them.
If you become a member
The Membership uses your account: your name, email address and a password, which is stored only as a hash. We keep what you were charged each month, when and in which currency, but never your card details, which go directly to Stripe and never reach us.
For each request you tell us who the work is for (their public LinkedIn profile) and you send a brief, and sometimes files. If that person is not you, you are telling us you are entitled to share their details with us for this purpose. We never contact them; everything goes to you.
To tailor the work to you, we use information you give us and information you’ve made public, such as your LinkedIn profile, your posts and your website.

Support messages are kept, with who wrote them and when.
What we record automatically
We are told the country a visit comes from, which is how the site shows the membership price in pounds, euros or dollars. We keep records of what each paid service call cost us, linked to the request it was for. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers.
2. How the Work Is Made
Brandable is human-led and AI-assisted: a person leads the work, uses AI tools to help, and approves every delivery before it reaches you. The information described above is passed to AI providers only to produce your score or your requests. We use what we learn from finished work, with nothing that identifies you, to improve how we do future work.
3. Cookies
We set only what is strictly necessary: a cookie that keeps you signed in, shared across brandable.be and its subdomains so one sign-in covers your account. There is no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker and nothing shared with an ad network.
4. Who Else Sees It
We sell nothing and rent nothing. To run the service we use these processors, each for a single job:
- Harvest: reads the public LinkedIn profiles we work from.
- Anthropic: the AI that scores profiles and helps draft the work. Your data is not used to train their models.
- OpenAI: the AI used for images and for searching what we hold about a piece of work.
- Supabase: the database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in London.
- Vercel: hosts the site.
- Resend: sends our email.
- Stripe: takes the monthly membership payments and handles the card details, which we never see.
Some of these are outside the UK and EEA. Where that is so, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How Long We Keep It
A score and the profile copy behind it are kept while the score link works, so you can come back to it. An account, its requests, briefs, files, finished work and support messages are kept while the account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires. When you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we delete what identifies you; what we learned from the work, with nothing that identifies you, is kept. If you unsubscribe, we keep the fact that you did, because that is the only way to honour it.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop processing it, or have it in a portable form. You can withdraw consent for offers at any time. Ask at hello@brandable.be and we will answer within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
7. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never as text. Links we email you to confirm your address are stored only as a hash. Scores live at unguessable addresses. Files you upload are kept in private storage and shared only through short-lived links.
8. Children
The service is for working adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16.
9. Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
